Biography of Phillip A. Franklin

                                                              

Phil was born in 1943 in Indianapolis, Indiana. A former Marine Artilleryman and Expert Marksman, he was stationed at Guantanamo Bay during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Phil graduated from SIU-Edwardsville in 1970 with a BS degree in English Literature. He went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from SIU-Carbondale.

 

Phil is a former insurance company claims representative and supervisor. He is also a former insurance company defense attorney.

 

Phil has been a plaintiff's attorney since 1984. Phil has tried between 75 and 100 bench and jury trials. He has tried auto accident cases, medical malpractice cases, workers compensation cases, and product liability cases.
